John Kline receives endorsements from Minnesota, National Pro-Life Groups

Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life, National Right to Life congratulate John Kline for a 100 percent pro-life voting record

BURNSVILLE – The Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL) and National Right to Life (NRL) are the latest organizations to give their backing to Congressman John Kline’s re-election campaign for his 100 percent voting record and continued commitment to the pro-life cause.

“Our endorsement is based on your 100 percent voting record since your last election and your continued commitment to the pro-life cause," said Scott Fischbach of MCCL.  "The MCCL Federal PAC is pleased to endorse your candidacy in the 2008 election for U.S. Congress representing Minnesota District 2.”

National Right to Life also lauded Congressman Kline. “We especially take note of, and thank you for, your vote to deny certain federal funds of Planned Parenthood, which is the largest provider of abortion in the United States,” NRL executives said in their letter of endorsement. “Your strong pro-life record has earned you the support of all voters who are concerned with the right to life and the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family.”

Since 1968, MCCL has been a committed advocate for the rights of the unborn. Its stated mission is to secure protections for innocent life from conception until natural death through effective education, legislation, and political action. The National Right to Life Committee was founded in 1973 in response to a United States Supreme Court decision that year that legalized the practice of human abortion in all 50 states throughout the entire nine months of pregnancy. Since that time, the National Right to Life Committee has grown to represent more than 3,000 chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

“I am honored, once again, to receive the endorsement of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life and National Right to Life,” Congressman Kline said. “I am proud of my pro-life voting record and will continue to pursue legislation that respects the sanctity of life.
